Dzifa Kusenuh struggles with dreams that sometimes become frighteningly real. According to her father, they are visions. When they travel to Ghana together, she faces the question of whether or not to embrace her father's spiritual heritage.

Although dreams frighten her and keep her from embracing her father's vodu faith, Dzifa nevertheless courageously decides to travel with him for the first time to the mystical spirit world of Ghana. It is a decision that will define her entire identity and her future. She hopes to connect with her ancestors during this spiritual journey to finally overcome the fear that haunts her. This documentary shows Dzifa's need to become whole again as she develops both a deeper connection with her father and her own intuition.
