With Skin and Hair

In the short documentary "Met huid en haar" (With Skin and Hair), owners explain why they have their deceased pets stuffed. While the taxidermist attempts to restore the animal's soul with foam, clay, and glass eyes, the owners share what drives them: the desire for reassurance, comfort, and to keep alive a bond that is too precious to let go of.
